The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to promote next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two time unified boxing king Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
Despite those words, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead targeted ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's largest money-making draws, regularly earning massive earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the customary face-off, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
